“Creating Better Images of Your Orchids” Ever wish you could take better photos of your orchids to share with friends? Join us via Zoom July 13 at 7:30 for a special treat. Professional photographer Tom Kuligowski will show us how to do it.
Tom was bitten by the “Orchid Bug” 20 years ago while photographing a neighbor’s orchids, documenting the progression of growth through the blooms on the mature plants. He soon started his own orchid collection, incorporating his artistic abilities with various mediums, combining his photographic skills to create beautiful photographs of his orchids.
“You don’t necessarily need a wealth of knowledge to capture images of your orchids. Many of today’s cameras can do the thinking for you.” With this in mind, Tom teaches orchid hobbyists how to take better pictures of their own orchids. Whether you use a smartphone, point-and-shoot camera, or digital single lens reflex camera, everyone can improve their images. Tom will show us a few simple techniques to create images that will make our photos as beautiful as our orchids.
