Olivier Turina moved to Fort Lauderdale from his hometown Brussels, Belgium in 2005 to join his husband Tommy and he started growing orchids in 2013 after attending the Fort Lauderdale Orchid Show where he discovered “Paradise” and got the “orchid bug”. It has since become a true passion/downright obsession of his.

Olivier is a hobbyist with a collection of 450+ orchids. He focuses on species and primary hybrids and grows many different genera with Catasetums and Stanhopeas being his top favorites but in reality, there are few orchids he does not like…..
